COVID 19 – The actions we are taking

As a responsible employer, the safety and well-being of our employees and customers is of the highest importance to us.  We are actively monitoring the COVID-19 / Coronavirus situation and taking what we believe are the necessary best actions.  We wanted to share with you some of the precautionary measures we are taking.

Aligning with health authorities

We are closely monitoring COVID-19 updates from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and also following the advice of the UK Government and the National Health Service.  We will continue to seek guidance from these bodies on an on-going basis.

Protecting our employees and customers

We have set up an internal team to review, agree and roll-out our response to this pandemic.  We have business continuity plans in place to do our utmost to ensure the continuation of business services within our control.

As our employees interact with customers and the general public, we have taken the recommended steps to limit exposure to the virus. We have put restrictions on travel, and cancelled attendance at major events. 

Wherever possible we are conducting meetings via teleconferencing facilities and providing remote / home working solutions for the majority of our staff.  We are promoting safe behaviour for all of our staff in line with the issued guidelines.

We will continue to monitor the actions we have implemented and refine them in line with the on-going WHO and UK Government guidance.

We are monitoring all employee personal holiday travel and any employees returning from identified virus hotspots, or who feel ill, have been told not to report to work. We have specific quarantine and communication procedures in place should an employee be diagnosed with COVID-19, or is asked to self-isolate by a public health authority.
